Last Friday, all parents and carers will have received an email requesting your help in providing important feedback to the School. Each year, the Glenaeon Parent and Carer Survey provides an opportunity for families to share their experiences and help shape the future of Glenaeon. Feedback from last year's survey directly informed key areas of focus in 2026, including enhancements to student wellbeing and support processes, improvements to school communications through our new website and newsletter, and expanded opportunities for parents to deepen their understanding of Steiner education.
Ideally, we would like all Glenaeon families to participate in the 2026 Survey. This year, the survey is being delivered through a new, more accessible platform (including phones) and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and should be completed in one sitting.
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to grow and improve as a school community, across the whole school, and importantly, at different stages of your child’s journey with us. You can complete the survey by referring to the email sent to all families last Friday, August 28. The survey closes at 8.00pm this Sunday 6 September.
This weekend marks a special day as we celebrate Father’s Day. We give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, mentors and all who take up a fatherly role, helping young people grow with confidence, purpose and love. In the words of Rudolf Steiner, ‘Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, and send them forth in freedom.’
Enjoy the weekend ahead,
Diana Drummond
Head of School
