Our Co‑Curricular program extends the core curriculum, offering students meaningful opportunities to develop practical skills, build confidence, and engage deeply with their interests as they grow. Activities run for seven or eight sessions per term, depending on the program and length of term.

Music-making at Glenaeon is a communal act with voices and instruments woven together, in living harmony. Join Sinfonia, Concert Band, Senior Guitar, Senior Percussion, Big Band, Jazz Combo or Chamber Choir.
Movement is not a recreation at Glenaeon, it is a necessity. Through sport, children develop body awareness, cooperation, and the joy of wholehearted physical engagement. Join us for Parkour, Soccer, Fencing or Archery.
Glenaeon’s SRC has been running for many years, providing our students with a unique platform to act as an authentic student-voice, directly influencing school culture and decision-making while gaining high-level leadership experience.
This class is designed to encourage public speaking skills from beginner to advanced speakers and is a great way to connect with students across year levels. Students will develop enhanced critical thinking, build self-confidence, develop active listening skills, develop a deeper understanding of opposing viewpoints and foster tolerance.
A structured, non-formal education framework designed for young people aged 14–25 to develop personal skills, resilience, and community connection. DofE is globally recognised in over 130 countries and operates at three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Students will develop essential life skills such as resilience, adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Strategic thinking, patience, and the discipline of a long game. Chess builds the kind of careful, consequential reasoning that complements Steiner's rich thinking curriculum beautifully.
The stage is one of Steiner education's oldest allies. Drama awakens empathy, frees the voice, and invites children into the imaginative lives of others. Drama Club will foster self-confidence, self-belief, and communication skills through a course that incorporates improvisation, play building and short scripts.
A calm and supported space for children to settle into independent work, cultivating the inner qualities of focus, self-direction, and steady effort that will serve them throughout life. Students may receive assistance with general organisation, homework planning and study timetables, task completion, literacy and written expression, or numeracy.
