Glenaeon students outdoor learning

About the Fair

The Glenaeon Family Fair is a annual community event on Sydney’s lower north shore.

Each year, families, friends of the school, local residents, and visitors gather for a joyful day that reflects the warmth and creativity of the Glenaeon community. Set among the natural bushland surrounds of the Castlecrag campus, the Fair offers a welcoming atmosphere and a great family day out.

Hosted by the school’s parent community, the Family Fair is Glenaeon’s largest annual fundraising event. The day is filled with delicious homemade food, beautiful art and craft stalls, live music and performances, and a wide range of activities designed to delight children of all ages. From traditional games and hands on workshops to vibrant entertainment and community stalls, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Beyond the fun and festivities, the Fair also provides a meaningful opportunity for prospective families and local visitors to experience the spirit of Steiner education. Guests are invited to view student work, explore the campus, and speak with teachers and parents about the unique approach to learning and child development at Glenaeon. It is a day that captures the heart of the school, celebrating creativity, community, and a shared commitment to nurturing young people.
