Year 12 Chemistry students were visited by Jon Horlyck last week, a PhD candidate from UNSW, speaking to them about how to capture carbon dioxide and methane from the atmosphere and convert it into synthetic fuel using a catalyst. The title of Jon’s thesis is: Supported Bimetallic Catalysis for the Dry Reforming of Methane
