The Class Teacher Curriculum Intensives were held over a week in January at the Middle Cove campus
As mentioned in Andrew's article, the Class Teacher Curriculum Intensives were held over a week in January at the Middle Cove campus. Two hundred class teachers from around Australia and New Zealand came to learn, share and contribute to a full schedule of lectures, workshops and social get-togethers, and deepen their understanding of what it is to be a Steiner teacher in a primary school.
A huge thanks go out to coordinator, Peggy Day - the intensives were brilliantly thought out; they offer such a rich learning experience for teachers, both experienced and new to Steiner teaching. Thanks also go to Anette Babula, Andrew Hill's EA, for her calm and smiling administrative help, to Margaret Milikin, the Maintenance team and Julie Skuja for their help with the set-up and managing the day-to-day needs of the teachers and to Sharon, Lorna and the kitchen team, who provided an amazing daily menu of food for the teachers, with a different cuisine every day!
