The next Parent Education seminar will take place on Friday October 24th and will be presented by Julia Byrne and Vanessa Snaith-Gardiner.

Julia and Vanessa will present an overview of how Art Therapy can meet our unfolding needs along the path of individual development. This way of working has a particular benefit in strengthening the soul through regulating and harmonising the rhythmic realm.

Participants will have an opportunity to experience some simple artistic exercises that may help to enhance balance, health and insight.
The subtle and transformative qualities within the visual artistic process are relevant and deeply healing for both adults and children seeking support across all gradients.

Vanessa Snaith Gardiner is a practising artist and shares her deep enthusiasm for creating and touching the invisible forces of our lives with the many children and adults she reaches in her teaching. She has taught handcraft, painting and drawing in Steiner schools for nearly 10 years, and also teaches at the Sydney Rudolf Steiner College. Vanessa trained at COFA, Paddington through UNSW in fine arts and education and holds a Masters in Art Therapy from Tobias School of Art & Therapy in the UK.

Julia Byrne trained in England in the Hauschka Artistic Therapy method. She works independently as an art therapist, working privately and at Glenaeon with children and adults both individually and in groups.

When: Friday October 24th, 2014, 9.20 - 11AM
Where: Marion Mahony Griffin Hall, Glenaeon Castlecrag Campus
