On a very beautiful winter day in August, 19 keen Glenaeon netballers played very successful games at the Moore Park Netball courts in Centennial Park in the annual ISD Netball competition against other schools. Both our junior and senior teams were comprised mainly of players from our successful teams that play in the weekend competition in Willoughby.

The senior girls were: new student Charlotte G, Abbey, Jaz, Tabitha all from Year 10, and Ruby, Emi, Aya and Myah (Year 9) who played extremely well, led on by a very convincingly playing Charlotte. Abbey, Tabitha and Charlotte scored high in all games. They breezed through the group stage to face Reddam House in the final. A tense game which was ultimately won 29:22 for our Glenaeon girls. This meant that the Senior Girls Netball ISD Carnival Trophy we won in 2015 was once again retained and taken home by some very happy, tired and proud girls.
