Glenaeon Foundation Update
We have wonderful news to share with you!
Stage One of the Glenaeon Community Kitchen has been completed. In the next few weeks, the Canteen will open and start serving food. Sharon Dirken, a former Glenaeon parent, will be leading the Canteen Operations from Wednesday to Friday and Anne Rouse will be conducting Food Technology lessons in the Kitchen on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please join celebrated author and journalist, Indira Naidoo, for the launch of the Glenaeon Community Kitchen.
Indira is passionate about converting wasted urban land into productive spaces to grow food and will share inspirational stories of ‘green guerillas’ all over the country mobilising this dream. The Glenaeon Foundation looks forward to celebrating the official opening of the Community Kitchen with you and sharing our vision for creating the ‘heart and soul’ of the school with Stage 2 of the Community Kitchen Project.Date: Monday 5th September 2pm-3.30pm

Format: Afternoon tea, Tour of the organic garden and official opening by Indira Naidoo
