Class 4 recently visited St Paul's Residential Aged Care Facility to share songs, poems and cards with the aged residents. This is the third year they have visited St Paul's, and it was very special to see how the students and residents are remembering each other from year to year. It was a true sharing, with Class 4 kicking things off by performing some songs and poems (including all 13 verses of 'The Man from Snowy River'). Next, the residents of St Paul's sweetly sang 'Over the Rainbow' for Class 4. Then the two groups came together to sing 'Edelweiss' and 'We are Australian' - and yes, it was hard for the mums helping with the day to not shed a little tear at this point. For the big finale, an enthusiastic group jam of "In the jungle, the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight". It was a lovely visit, enjoyed by all.
