First up at Glenaeon last Thursday, we found Year 8 out on the basketball courts with Brendan Strobl, throwing and catching long wooden poles, and it looked like a real test of coordination and cooperation.
Next - we welcomed a lovely group of student teachers and their professors from High Point University in North Carolina, USA, who were here to learn more about Steiner education. We took them into our classrooms for Main Lesson then showed them around our beautiful campus in the Autumn sunshine.
We took them there via the garden, which is where we all learnt that we keep a bee hive with Native Australian bees, who help to pollinate the many fruits and vegetables we grow at Glenaeon!
Finally, we gave them the chance to ask Andrew Hill lots of interesting questions in the Library.
If their reactions are anything to go by, the US is about to qualify a whole bunch of Steiner teachers in the next few years!!
Finally, we were delighted to be offered produce to buy from the Biodynamic garden during the lunch hour by a couple of primary students. Eggplants looked good!
