High School & Senior College
Our high school curriculum is designed with the growing child in mind. Year by year, following the developmental stages of childhood, the curriculum mirrors the inner development of the child, thereby making the educational experience both relevant and satisfying. The school also complies with all aspects of the Board of Studies curriculum and students consistently score well in the HSC and other standardised tests.
At Glenaeon the first three years of High School (Years 7-9) are held as the ‘middle school’.
Each Year Group has a Class Guardian who travels with the class and a Year Advisor who stays in that year group.
At Year 10 the students join the Senior College and begin their last three years of schooling. We provide several options for students to complete their schooling including the strenuous intellectual and practical challenge of completing a Major Project.
Above all we provide an education that enables each student to begin on the path of self discovery: we provide a journey through the story of humanity, one that fosters a global and compassionate worldview taking its impulse from the classical ideal of “Know Thyself”.
