It's always lovely to have Glenaeon alumni come back to work at the school, and we recently welcomed back Lucia Langen (2014) who is studying to become a teacher and is doing her practicum at Glenaeon. Lucia joins a group of alumni who are teachers at the school, including David Green, Pam Laycock, Elizabeth Ellean, Liz Nevieve, Yura Totsuka, Evan Sanders and Elena Rowan.
Our GlenX night, on Thursday 5th May was a huge success due in great part to our fabulous alumni and the wonderful stories they told.

A hearty congratulations to Glenaeon Class of 2012 alumna, Claire Brown, on her win in the inaugural Tom Bass Sculpture Prize, Youth Category.
On Friday 12th February, we welcomed back to school the Class of 2015 for Year 13 Drinks. It was a great evening with our newest alumni enjoying drinks and sharing their plans for 2016 & beyond!
Another reunion season at Glenaeon has come and gone! Over three evenings in September, we hosted the 10 Year (Class of 2005), 20 Year (Class of 1995) and 30 Year (Class of 1985) reunions at our Middle Cove campus.

Joshua Suntup graduated from Gleaneon in 2014 after being at our school since Kindergarten. In his gap year he has taken on an impressive initiative to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease.
On Thursday 7th May, the Glenaeon community enjoyed an entertaining and informative presentation by Alumnus Ian, (Herbie) Herbie Hemphill (1969). Ian delighted the audience with tales of growing up with parents who pioneered herbs and spices in the 1950's.
Welcome back to Glenaeon Alumnus - Dr Max Skipper (1998)
Max graduated from Glenaeon in 1998, coming 4th in the state in Extension 2 Maths (the highest level of this subject). He then went on to achieve the University Medal with First Class Honours in Mathematics from Sydney University, followed by a PhD scholarship at Oxford University on Probability theory.
Max returned to school on 22nd April to talk with our senior Maths students (Years 9-12) about his original research at Oxford, the work that Mathematicians do after university, and reminisce on his time at Glenaeon.
Congratulations to Glenaeon Alumnus Toby Thatcher (2007) who at only 26 years old has been appointed Assistant Conductor of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. This highly coveted role will see Toby conduct the orchestra on their regional tour of Albury, Wagga and Griffith in May 2015.
Congratulations to graduate Madelaine Dickie (2004) who is the winner of the City of Fremantle T.A.G Hungerford Award. The 28-year-old Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School graduate won the award for her manuscript Troppo, a work of fiction focusing on Australia’s relationship with Indonesia.
Glenaeon welcomed back Ella Pooley (2008) as a student teacher in Term 3, 2014.
In late September 2014, former Glenaeon student Zoe Morley (2004), came to talk to our Year 11's about life in business. We recently reconnected with Zoe at the 10 year reunion for the Class of 2004.
It was a very happy audience who listened as Hugh MacKay wove a spell of words at the Marion Mahony Griffin Lecture at our Founders Day on 18th October 2014.
In September 2014, Glenaeon’s Class of 2004 celebrated their 10-year reunion at the school and confirmed for many of us the positive results of a Steiner education.
