Castlecrag Harvest Festivals

The Kindergarten and Classes 1 and 2 enjoyed their wonderful Harvest Festivals last Wednesday. The children were treated to wonderful violin music, played games, sang songs, and enjoyed a sumptuous feast.

Year 9 Camp

Year 9 enjoyed a fantastic camp in the Wolgan Valley last week, experiencing climbing, canyoning, walking and traversing the region. The students thoroughly enjoyed the simple daily routine of eating, adventuring, and sleeping under the stars.

Castlecrag Twilight Markets

Our next Twilight Market will be held on Friday April 4th at the Castlecrag campus from 3 - 6pm, and is a great family afternoon that is open to the school and wider community. The markets are abuzz with wonderful homegrown music, yummy baked goods and a sizzling sausage-sizzle. Relax with some delicious food while listening to the music, or simply wander through our eclectic stalls offering gorgeous homemade products and clothing.

Harvest Festival

We recently celebrated The Harvest Festival in Assembly with singing, poems and stories. This festival is unique to Steiner schools, where the produce of the earth is gathered, and our labours recognised in a celebration. The oranges, reds and yellows have burst into flame in various fruits and vegetables such as pumpkins, tomatoes and squash. A time of equal day and night - it is a time when nature is considered to be in balance.
