Our next Twilight Market will be held on Friday April 4th at the Castlecrag campus from 3 - 6pm, and is a great family afternoon that is open to the school and wider community. The markets are abuzz with wonderful homegrown music, yummy baked goods and a sizzling sausage-sizzle. Relax with some delicious food while listening to the music, or simply wander through our eclectic stalls offering gorgeous homemade products and clothing.
We recently celebrated The Harvest Festival in Assembly with singing, poems and stories. This festival is unique to Steiner schools, where the produce of the earth is gathered, and our labours recognised in a celebration. The oranges, reds and yellows have burst into flame in various fruits and vegetables such as pumpkins, tomatoes and squash. A time of equal day and night - it is a time when nature is considered to be in balance.
The next event in our Parent Education Program will be 'Optimising Our Ability to Learn'. On Friday 28th March, Annette Barone will host a talk on exploring the role of movement in learning, and discuss how this unfolds according to child development. She will also talk about practical activities to incorporate into home life.
An open day will be held at the Middle Cove Campus on Friday 4th April from 9:15 am until 12:00 pm. The open day is a fantastic opportunity for prospective parents to tour the school, observe classrooms from Year 3 to Year 12 in action, and view displays of student work and performances.

2014 sees the beginning of an exciting and challenging new program at Glenaeon; a program that marks the beginning of our Year 9 students' journeys into 'Womanhood' or 'Manhood'.
Glenaeon was recently treated to a lyre concert by the renowned musician John Billing.
We really enjoy bringing you 'Where are they now?' - a look at what our talented and diverse Alumni community are doing now. Today we feature Richard Claremont (82') who is an internationally acclaimed and prolific Australian artist.
