It's always lovely to have Glenaeon alumni come back to work at the school, and this week we welcomed back Lucia Langen (2014).
Year 8 have been studying Shakespeare for their most recent Main Lesson and they began their Shakespeare festival with performances over the past few nights. They showcased three abridged plays: Taming of the Shrew, 12th Night and The Merchant of Venice.
A second group of Year 9 Geography students travelled to Richmond and Bilpin this week to learn about farming, soil and hydroponics, and to do some apple picking.
Thirty-one Glenaeon students spent a most wonderful Sydney autumn day running their hearts out around the beautiful McKay track in Centennial Park.y.

Class 1 and Class 2 planted cotton seed in February and recently the children had to re-pot their plants as they are growing up!
Intensive Care Paramedic, Anthony Wheeler, visited Glenaeon again this week to show Year 10 PDHPE students around an ambulance and how paramedics work on the scene of emergencies.
Our Year 12 Chemistry students were visited by Jon Horlyck last week, a PhD candidate from UNSW.
A special memory the mothers of Class Three will remember always: a Mother’s Day pampering afternoon!
Glenaeon is participating in this year’s Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO), with close to twenty Year 7 and 8 students taking part.
